Hi,
Recently, I have observed that platform such as Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Quora gets the more attention but Tumblr doesn't seems to get mentioned very often in marketing discussion.
What do you think Is Tumblr still useful for brand visibility? Waiting for your opinion.

Niche and aesthetic websites still working.
What do you mean by niche and aesthetic websites? As far as aesthetic goes Pinterest or Instagram are better at marketing this than Tumblr.

In my opinion, Tumblr can still help if your niche is art, fandom, or visuals, but for marketing or lead generation it feels weak compared to other platforms.

Tumblr is more of a secondary platform now. It can help with brand presence in specific communities, but it is not a priority channel for most marketers today.

It still has value for brand awareness in niche and creative markets, but its audience and marketing impact are smaller than major platforms like Reddit, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

Id say no as its very niche dependant.

visability is minimal with a very low audience reach
Yes this is agreed on especially after they started censoring content.

Id have to humbly disagree on this point tumblr as a individual platform has lots majority of its target audience.

I think Tumblr can still help increase brand awareness, but its effectiveness is fairly limited compared to larger and more active social media platforms. While it can be useful for reaching niche audiences, the overall impact is usually not very significant.

Tumblr works for brand visibility only if your niche is heavily visual or pop-culture driven, like digital art, fashion, or fandoms. Instead of writing long articles, use high quality imagery or short video loops and stack up to 20 specific tracking hashtags. The community there reblogs content actively, which gives your brand organic, compounding reach over time without relying on paid ads.

Tumblr is still usable in 2026, but not a main growth platform. It has niche audiences and low competition, so it can help with visibility. But reach is small and growth is slow compared to Reddit, Instagram, or TikTok. It works best as a secondary support channel, not a primary traffic source.

Tumblr can still be useful for brand visibility when the audience matches the platform Strong visuals niche communities and consistent posting can build awareness It may not drive the same volume as larger networks but it still has value for certain brands

I think it depends on your niche. Tumblr is not very popular for marketing, but it can still be useful if your target audience is active there. I would not use it as my main platform, but it can work well as part of a broader brand visibility strategy.

Yes, but only if your niche is active there. Tumblr still gives visibility through reblogs, not search or algorithm change.

Tumblr isn't the biggest marketing platform anymore, but it's far from useless. It works best as a supporting channel alongside Reddit, Instagram, or LinkedIn, helping brands reach niche audiences and strengthen their online presence.

I still find Tumblr to be very useful for brand promotion. If you focus on creating niche content and actively engaging with the community, you can achieve surprisingly good results.

Tumblr still has value, but only for certain niches like art, photography, fashion, fandoms, and creative content. For most businesses, put more effort into platforms like reddit, LinkedIn, instagram, or facebook because they tend to offer better reach and engagement. Tumblr can be a nice secondary channel, but I wouldn't rely on it as a primary marketing platform.

Tumblr is still valuable if your brand targets niche communities and creative content, but if your goal is broader reach and conversions, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn generally deliver better results.
