hey everyone,

i’m seeing something strange in google ads and wanted to check if anyone else is noticing this.

campaigns are still active, ads are approved, nothing is showing as disapproved or limited, but performance just feels off.

impressions are way lower than usual and in some cases almost nothing is coming in even though everything looks fine in the dashboard.

i already checked basic stuff like bids, keywords, budget and targeting but there is no obvious issue from my side.

it feels like the system is just not pushing certain campaigns the way it used to.

not sure if this is just normal auction changes or something else in how google is handling delivery now.

anyone else seeing similar behavior recently or is it just me.

Yep, been seeing the same. Everything looks fine but impressions just tank, probably auction changes or Google throttling some campaigns.

Yeah, a lot of people have been reporting similar “everything looks fine but delivery dropped” behavior lately. In most cases it ends up being auction-side changes rather than account issues like increased competition, lower search volume, or a drop in impression share even when budget and ads are still active.

I’ve noticed similar behavior recently on a few accounts. Sometimes Google changes auction dynamics or recalibrates delivery without showing any warnings. In some cases impressions recover after a few days, especially if recent edits were made to the campaigns.

Yes, a lot of advertisers have been seeing impression drops lately even with active campaigns, usually caused by auction volatility, smart bidding adjustments, or increased competition rather than account issues.

You need to play in the auctions. I advise you to use the manual bid assignment with a manual CPC change, you can view the price and make it more in the Keywords Planer.

Yes may people are noticing this recently even when campaigns still show active. sometimes it is because of higher competition, bidding changes or google limiting reach from automation or settings updates.

If you made no changes and the Ad Preview tool says you aren't showing, do not tinker with or edit the campaign. Changing bids or budgets right now will only prolong the invisible automated review loop. Give it 48 hours to resolve organically

Yeah seeing this too on a few accounts lately. Everything says “eligible” but impressions randomly tank for no clear reason. Sometimes Google changes auction behavior or gets aggressive with automated bidding. I noticed broad match campaigns got hit the hardest recently.

you might wanna check if your campaigns are overlapping and bidding against each other, google sometimes completely stops one campaign if that happens.

Check the 'auction insights' report for those campaigns. if your competitors suddenly got a lot more competitive or started bidding higher, that's usually the culprit for impression loss

had this happen on a couple accounts last month. everything looked green but traffic just died. turned out to be a silent compliance check on the domain. google didn't flag the ads or show any policy errors in the campaign view, but when i checked the actual policy manager under setup there was a pending destination warning. might be worth digging into the policy manager specifically rather than just looking at the campaign status. if that's clean, sometimes just duplicating the campaign and launching it fresh gets it moving again... google's smart bidding gets stuck in weird loops sometimes and needs a hard reset.

@SMM Junction is probably on the money with the silent flag. i had the exact same thing happen on a setup last month... everything looked active but traffic just flatlined. turned out to be a silent domain flag in the policy manager that didn't trigger an email or dashboard alert. if that's clean, check if your advertiser verification has a pending prompt. google has been throttling accounts lately without actually suspending them right away while they wait for you to verify. duplicating the campaign might give you a temporary kick for a day or two but if the domain itself is flagged it will just stall again pretty quick. worth checking the policy manager first before you waste time duplicating stuff.

yeah this has happened to me as well. everything shows active but impressions suddenly drop. in my case it wasn’t a settings issue, it was more about auction competition and search volume changes. sometimes google just shifts delivery even without obvious warnings.

check your change history for any auto-applied recommendations that might have turned on by themselves... google loves sneaking those in and they can completely kill your delivery overnight. also if you are using any third party tracking links or cloakers sometimes the system soft-flags the redirect and just stops serving without actually disapproving the ad. had that happen last week on a setup and changing the tracking template to a clean domain fixed it immediately. definitely check that before you start messing with the bids.

yeah the silent flags are real but sometimes it is not even a domain policy thing... could be your billing profile. if you used a vcc or some cheap virtual card lately google will sometimes just soft-throttle the account trust score without suspending you. also if the domain is fresh like a .xyz or cheap tld they limit impressions to guard the auction. try checking your payment method or maybe run a tiny search campaign on a high trust domain like wikipedia just to see if it triggers impressions. if that works then your main domain or billing is shadow-banned.

Yes, it can happen. Check search volume, competition, and recent bid or quality score changes.

Yeah seen this too lately, looks more like auction changes than account issue, some campigns just dont get pushed like before.

Yeah seen this too, looks like auction been more competitive lately.

How are your ads performing right now? If none of the methods mentioned above work, I suggest trying a different account, it might be an issue with the traffic account received
