Yes, people need it. A lot of Tiktok and Instagram marketers are really into phone farming these days. It's a good idea.

I find your idea very good and highly promising because the demand for clean IP addresses from real devices is extremely high. At a price of $70 to $100 with unlimited 5G, you could definitely find customers in the account farming or proxy business

Is for people in other countries that want to access the phone remotely in usa, I pay more than that monthly already

Sounds interesting tbh. Not sure many people would pay $70–100 unless the connection is really stable and clean. Maybe start lower to test demand first. Who are you targeting with this?
 
You might want to consider offering daily or weekly plans as well, since not everyone is ready to commit to a full month upfront.
 
20 units are too few. A friend I know had 1,400 units last year and around 3,000 this year. He mainly focuses on interactive live streaming in TikTok, earning returns from streamers. I'm not exactly sure about the specific workflow, but his phones are very cheap—modified iPhone 8s, each costing about $25.
 
Better to start a farm with that money phones instead.
 
it's an interesting concept, but i'd spend a lot of time thinking about risk management before scaling it.

the hardware cost is easy to calculate. what's harder to calculate is damage, account abuse, chargebacks, platform violations, and device recovery when something goes wrong.

a lot of businesses look profitable on paper until operational issues start showing up. that's usually where the real challenge begins.
