An update: I set up this business officially at start of May. I've already gotten paid for a couple of work orders and things are going well. Seller is very helpful and his knowledge is invaluable. I'm optimistic this business will grow. The key is to approach this as a real business.

I wanted to get things rolling quicker so I got a working agreement with seller to help onboard clients and vendors and help until I got first payment from a job.
