Hi
@lemon97, thanks for your comment. Let me answer all your questions.
1. How important is it to be able to speak English on the phone in this scheme?
=> To get clients onboarded and to complete the work orders over the phone, you must speak in English, since the market is in the USA, many companies hire a VA for this support as an alternative.
2. What problems might arise for residents of third-class countries?
=> There is no particular problem if you are living outside the USA and operating this business from there. But since you don't have access to Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App type mobile money transfers. You have to spend more time on vendor recruitment, because many vendors like to get paid through mobile money apps. That doesn't mean you won't get any vendors. Let's say 50-60% vendors receive money through Stripe or ACH, remaining prefer to get paid by mobile money apps. You just have to avoid them when you recruit someone for your work order.
3. What is the earning potential after an investment of 5,000? 4. Is the investment required a one-time 5,000 or a 5,000 monthly?
=> At first, let me explain where you need this investment. First thing you have to spend on business setup (LLC, Insurance, IP Phone, G Suite), then the next investment is when you will get a work order. Let's say you received a work order from a company where you have to perform a handyman job, and the total invoice will be $850 for the client & client approved it, and the client will pay you after 2 weeks. to complete this job, you have to invest $500, which you will pay to your vendor/crew (This is where you need investment) after he complete the job and you will get back this $500 (investment) +$350 (Profit) = $850 from your client after 2 weeks. This $500 is your investment. I hope this will clear your concept of investment in this business model. In short, more investment means more jobs done, which means more profit. Less investment means less job done, less profit.
Please note, in this industry, payout models are mostly between 2weeks to 6 weeks. Each client has their own Net payment model. even sometime we get paid from some clients after 7 days. But it's rare.
Also note, in the business setup, you have some monthly overhead costs, it's not a lot compared to what you will gain, but still, I am mentioning this, so it will be much clearer what you can expect out of it, and no surprise
