How long does a new page take to get traffic?

hey everyone,

just wondering what everyone has experience with this.
when you publish a new page then how long does it usually take before you start seeing some organic traffic from google?
i have noticed some pages get indexed quickly but do not seem to get many clicks for a while.
curious to know what timelines other are seeing these days.

it really depends on the site's authority and competition level I've had some pages pick up traffic in a week while others didn't gain momentum until the 2–3 month mark
 
It really depends on the niche and how strong the site already is. Some pages can start seeing impressions within a few days, but meaningful clicks usually take a few weeks or more while Google tests and adjusts rankings.

From my experience it can be indexed in a matter of days but organic traffic is generally meaningful after a few weeks to 2-3 months. Much depends on the site authority, the competition and whether the page has internal links or backlinks. I've had pages that get clicks immediately, and some that took month to start getting traction.

In my experience indexing can happen within days but real organic traffic usually takes a few weeks to a few months. it depends on the site authority, keyword competition and internal linking.
 
If your page is new and has little authority, expect 1-3 months for initial traffic.
 
In my opinion, indexing and getting traffic is completely two different timelines. A new page can get indexed in few hours or days but organic traffic often take ling time. Indexing new page doesn't mean that website can get much traffic because Ranking on first page of Google SERP is very important to get traffic. It may take 2-3 months.

The indexing process is instant however, you will get some traffic in 2-4 weeks if you have a domain, while it will take 3 to 6 months if you do not have any domain. This happen because the search engine spends some time indexing your website by keeping your URL on a buffer system for some time and ensuring that the signal sent out by you really show intent and relevanc.

true, the sandboxing phase feels real for a lot of new pages. i have seen faster movement when pages get strong internal linking from already ranking content and a couple of relevant backlinks instead of waiting for google to figure it out on its own.

Really, the ndexing without clicks" phase is completely normal at this point in time. If you’re already an existin website trying to target low competition keywords on the long tail, you should start receiving traffic in as little as 1-3 weeks But when you’re operating on a new website, you’re looking at a 3-6 months process, wherein Google will test your rankings to allow for sustained traffic

In my experience, it usually takes a few weeks to a few months. Indexing can happen quickly, but getting consistent organic traffic depends on the competition, content quality, and backlinks. Patience is a big part of SEO.
 
In my experience, internal linking and quality backlinks significantly reduce the time it takes for new pages to get traffic.
 
New pages often go through a testing phase. Google may index them quickly but takes time to understand where they belong in the search results. I usually do not judge a page until it has been live for at least 2-3 months.
 
Indexing is the easy bit; getting regular clicks tends to take longer. If the content fits with the search intent and has a couple of decent backlinks, then traction will b evident within weeks, but 2-3 months is more typical
