hi, i think it will be a good thing to have separate bump button.. that have certain cooldown period in between. the button will push the thread on top

this of course to separate actual post than a mere bump that look trashy.. making meaningful post harder to find drown deep in pages by potential buyer

I dont understand anything you mean by that, can you clarify what you want to build and why?

Or you could have in your copy "Reply here for a 10% discount" so you get ample replies and they do the bumping for you.

A separate bump button could be a feature that bhw could upsell for as well where if you want to bump straight away you pay x amounts of dollars.

Because as I understand it you can only bump every 72 hours.

New rev source bhw.

Funny you mention that :) I got the same idea a while ago, with a twist to it (a lot of twists, actually). It was very briefly mentioned but it will be part of the agenda for further talk in team meetings.

This idea doesnt mean we'd eliminate the normal post to bump for sales threads, but just enhances that feature. Along with a schedule post being part of the idea and some other very interesting bits that I won't even mention yet, as we haven't even discussed them in meetings properly. For now, it's still in the realm of being an idea, but I'm glad that it's something that was brought up as a suggestion :)

We'll leave the thread open for a while so we can collect more opinions as usual.

PS: There's no guarantee it will be implemented; we have to evaluate many things as we normally do. That and hearing the opinion of sellers/members of course. This is also a critical part of our decisions.

Since it's been a few days and there are no new replies, we'll close this query.

As I've mentioned above, the idea was already on our agenda to talk about it and we'll see what comes out of that.

Thank you for the suggestion and your thoughts.
