Crypto is Shit?

it's definitely a more steeper learning curve than the mainstream markets. One important lesson is to never follow the hype online because it is usually a community of rugpullers hyping it or by the time it is getting hype it is near the top and about to come down
 
I was in the same situation three years ago — and the anger over the loss and the desire to get it back tend to override common sense, but you have to let go of that loss—learn from it and move on.
You have to remember that futures are basically like a casino.

This is just one of my accounts. The actual problem is much bigger than this. I'm losing faith after BTC dropped to 58k this week. Do you have BTC invested? :weep:

I don't think crypto is a scam, but it's not suitable for the masses to make money. Very few people profit from this market :((((((
 
The market can be profitable, but surviving long enough to learn proper risk management is the hard part. Most big losses come from position sizing and emotions, not the market itself.

When you lose $70k, there will also be someone earning $70k.
This market has always been like that... still an opportunity for everyone to make money.

But the remaining 10% make a lot of money. Actually the money is getting transferred from 90% to 10% .

I don't quite understand your interface, but it seems like you only lose money when you trade futures, right?
 
The topic of cryptocurrencies is always widely discussed on forums, and those who lose a lot of money tend to spark even more controversy =)) Is it that everyone wants to see others lose money as a lesson for themselves or not LOL

Have you also experienced major account issues? I empathize with your pain. It's hard to get over this. Time sometimes doesn't erase the pain :(

It's difficult to find experts confident enough to demonstrate profitability in this market.

LOL :)))) I'm looking for that 10% and hoping to find some people in this forum. A friend recommended this forum to me because there are people here with excellent knowledge of cryptocurrency, but I haven't found any posts sharing experience. Most people here just share their feeling. :(
 
I am also a cryptocurrency enthusiast, but I only invest in ETH. Playing sports almost guarantees no loss during trending seasons.
Therefore, there are always opportunities to make money in cryptocurrencies, and the same applies to other fields.

yes,I shortened the investment timeframe by opening long/short positions. It was really stupid to do that. I know many people made the same mistake as me :( :weep:

ETH also accounted for about 60% of my portfolio last year. It's really disappointing that ETH dropped from 4900 to its current level of 1500. I've really lost faith in the second-largest coin in the market.

Yesterday, he shared that he's opening a short position on ETH, and he said he expects the market to mature again in October-November of this year.

You can certainly be one of those 10% . Do not be in hurry, spend some months reading about crypto and news related to crypto.

during this bear market i just have a short position opened for ETH, probably closing it in the coming weeks, maybe open another one in august or september during a counter trend rally

this year your priority should be just preserve what you have or slightly increase it, nothing crazy

I'm following Ben Cowen ideas if you want to check his youtube or X, he is hated by all those gurus, permabulls and altcoin shillers

and opening short/long positions is a bit riskier, I opened a 3X position, not degen stuff to avoid losses, at least i'm making money instead of being liquidated like many people, there are no methods or strategies, just following Ben's ideas and applying it

i know it can looks like promotion for his channel, but guy has 1m followers, he definitely do not need me xD, just grateful that I pivoted from altcoin shillers to someone serious, there are other analysts that you may follow, but pick someone serious, not clowns promoting shitcoins all the time
