I want to create a super simple manual phone farm(5-20 phones). No automation. Not operating through computer. All done by manually tapping and swiping with my fingers on smartphones.

The aim: create more important quality reddit/fetlife/insta/threads profiles that don't get recognized as operated from one room/city, they all don't get chain banned altogether, and they never get banned based on their suspicious fingerprint/IP/location - all as clean as possible.

I understand the importance of warming up accounts and setting them up/posting in a careful way.

The phones will:
- turn off bluetooth and wifi scanning
- each will have its sim card mobile internet data

What else is required/recommended so that from the technical point phones don't get recognized as operating from one room/city and can sustain long?

alternatively: any reliable app cloners or other solutions to achieve all that or reliably fake/use different localization/proxy?

this is overkill
manually handling 5 phones
you think it is a good idea
but it is not
you are wasting your time
you must automate everything

I know. You are right.

But first I want to make sure that I can even set up all these phones in a way that technically won't get them recognized by social media platforms.

I can vibe-code my own program/approach for semi-automatically posting on reddit and other platforms, by sending to each phone some spreadsheet with what has to be posted and where.
A bit similar to what Postpone.app provides with their 'reddit notification posting' by increasing and simplifying posting, but avoid using API or automations.

After I have this first simple archaic but possibly clean and working setup - then afterwards later I can experiment with some automations and researching how to handle that properly.

So, for now, I want something simple, archaic, but working and clean.
Because I already need smth working now. It might take some time before I find all the necessary information and develop/buy a proper phone farm.

Great idea. You can use clickers, one per phone. They can do any gestures on the phones, basically you get remote control out of the box. I mean nomix clickers of course. And given you are good with coding some automation yourself

this seems to be the best start because they offer API for automation as well.

NomixClicker seems interesting. But it's slightly pricey for the business model I aim to.

And even with NomixClicker, the aim of this post is rather to understand how to technically set up a super simple manual phone farm in a way that phones remain not recognized as operating from one room/place and avoiding bans.

So, for now I want to avoid clickers or any automations or ADB or anydesk, unless there was a solution that offered all that as well as faking the localization at the same time.

It’s not so difficult. Basically you need different locations and IPs.

For locations you can use location spoofing OR just simply don’t grant the apps location access.

For IPs you can use VPN with socks5 proxies OR separate SIM cards (which is even better because IPs quality is higher).

A lot of people are doing this here on BHW, it’s not some secret technique. The real tricky part is running many accounts on ONE phone, but that wasn’t your concern so far.

Manual copy paste is fine for now. Add random delays between actions. don't post at exactly the same minute each day. Don't use the same charger or USB cable to connect them to a PC. That leaves traces. Charge separately. You can mix models.

Don't use location and stay away from automation. You're setup is perfectly fine if you have the time to manage all of it manually.

I might yet experiment and research the topic of proxy routers or creating my own proxies to somehow separate the phones from each other and have cleaner proxies.

I might give as well a try to grapheneos or clean iPhones. Will decide in the nearest days.

I still must understand better how to handle the issue of location. In case of grapheneos I assume this is solved easily in the system settings, though I know grapheneos might initially have lower trust score. Got to experiment with that.

I wonder how much sensitive data does iPhone leak.

If we connect iPhone to good proxy, set up the according timezone etc, and never allow permissions to share localization etc - might apps and browser still somehow against our will access the info about our localization or nearby wifi or Bluetooth devices, even after we set up everything to not share those info? Or does iPhone well protects us against this?
