If you got around $25 to spend then get a monthly subscription of Lowfruits.io it's the best tool I have come across to find low comp kws and provides much better competitive analysis than SEMRush or Ahrefs whose KD scores cannot be trusted

Start with keywords that already have search demand instead of writing random ideas. topics people search for have better rankings chances.
you find blog topics that rank by looking at what people are already searching on google then checking autocomplete and related searches then spying on competitors that are already on page one then picking topics with low competition but real search demand and writing something better and more useful than what is already there.

They don't just use backlinks of competitors to gauge difficulty but things like All in title. Also, you can check the SD and weak spots section together to find valuable kws. So, for a kw SEMRush KD and Ahrefs KD could be high same with Lowfruits SD but in Lowfruits you can see weakspots together and if there is Title mismatch. So, you want low SD(1) kws, with more than 4-5 weakspots and also results with more Title mismatches. These will be the golden kws

I usually start by looking at forums, Reddit, Facebook groups and the "People Also Ask" section in Google to find questions people are actively asking. Then I check whether the search results are dominated by huge authority sites or if there are weaker pages ranking. Long-tail keywords with clear search intent often offer the best balance of traffic potential and lower competition.

I've mixed opinions on this...
On one hand, I don't deny that Ahrefs and Semrush have gone lower in quality over the years (especially Semrush I think, with the acquisition by Adobe)...
But on the other hand, since when is title mismatching a thing in SEO? I thought that google have not been caring about titles in years... What I'm trying to say is that if those keywords have better difficulty scores than what Ahrefs and Semrush are giving them, then that's probably because of better analysis of the market / competitors' strength rather than because of titles mismatch.
I appreciate the explanation though
It is easier to quote all other related blog topics at the end of the content for research quote result on related,these another way to generate traffics with a content and many topic quote.

It's not about guessing, but about reading what the market is already telling you, stop fighting with generic keywords and go to forums like reddit or quora to see what your audience is asking, there you'll find specific questions with less competition, and the people searching for them are already there with the intention of solving something, not just browsing, also, pay attention to current trending topics, if you see a topic that's suddenly exploding, you have a huge window of opportunity to be among the first to talk about it, search engines and artificial intelligence are hungry for new information, and if you give them that content all at once, you'll gain the upper hand.
Take a healthy look at the competition, take their top ranking pages and see what keywords they're using, you'll find gems they've missed, the strategy isn't to copy them, but to see where they're weak, if they have a short, lame article on a popular topic, publish a well written one and you'll outrank them, build clusters of connected content so google sees you as a true authority, those who pay attention to data and user intent are the ones who continue to rank today.

I usually start with keyword research tools and look for long-tail keywords with decent search volume but lower competition. Checking forums, Reddit discussions, Google suggestions, and "People Also Ask" results can also reveal topics that real users are searching for. The best opportunities are often found where there is clear search intent but limited high-quality content already ranking.

One thing that has worked well for me is looking for questions that real people are already asking rather than starting with keywords. I check forums, Reddit, Quora, Pinterest trends, and even the "People Also Ask" section in Google. If the same question keeps appearing in multiple places, that's usually a good sign there is genuine search demand behind it.
For low-competition topics, I focus on long-tail keywords and look at the current search results. If the first page is filled with giant authority sites and highly optimized content, I usually move on. But when I see weaker pages, outdated articles, forum threads, or results that don't fully answer the query, that's often an opportunity. In my experience, publishing 20-30 well-targeted articles around a niche topic tends to perform much better than chasing a few high-volume keywords with heavy competition.

I usually look at what people are asking in forums and Facebook groups related to the niche. If the same question keeps coming up, it's often worth turning into an article.
