So everyone here is up-to-date with newest Google update and how the traditional search and optimisation is changing.
Google doesn't care about you anymore, they tryna survive

Is SEO worth continuing? Many agencies are going bust, old way is not present anymore and Google keeps changing their algorithm every week or two now

What is your opinion on this topic? Should we pivot and what are some more durable channels now

True shift is happening, but fundamentals like intent and authority still decide visibility.

SEO isn't dead, but relying only on Google feels riskier than ever. I'd treat SEO as one channel, not the business. The more durable play is building an audience through email lists, communities, social media, and a strong brand so you're not dependent on algorithm updates every few weeks.

seo isn't dead, just spam is dead. marketing is always evolving and right now it's all about the ai boom. you gotta build a strategy that drives real traffic while still doing your standard link building alongside it tbh.

No, SEO is not dead but the old spamming techniques are dead but fundamentals stay same always like user intent, semantic writing, Authority. In today era we need to highly focus to optimize content for LLMs because people moving towards them and also pay attention to social media and the best platform is pinterest. SEO is not going to anywhere but the old spammy tactics going to dead

seo is still worth it, but relying on google alone is much riskier than it used to be. the sites doing best now are treating seo as one channel, not the entire business. they're building email lists, social audiences, communities, and direct traffic alongside search.

i wouldn't quit seo, but i would definitely diversify. no traffic source is truly durable if it's your only one.

Yeah, SEO is definitely not dead, but it’s not something you can treat the same way as before. The people still winning are the ones adapting quickly instead of relying on old tactics. I’d just say don’t abandon SEO completely, but reduce dependency on it and build around more stable channels like direct traffic, email lists, communities, and even partnerships. That way you’re not fully exposed every time Google shifts things.
