Is it possible to take down a FB private group?

if u r not a member of group, u can not delete them but you can report it with fb only if u see them sell prohibited items
 
I think you can send group ID to Facebook support to report that group, but you need to provide clear proofs about they sell/buy prohibited items.
 
You need administrator privileges for the Facebook group to be able to delete it.
 
because you are not the member in group, it's hard to take down it. anyway, you can try to report with facebook, then they will review it.
 
If facebook is not taking it down for illegal activities, just file a report with local law enforcement, they'll make FB take it down.
 
You can still report it but if you are a member it is much easier. But if you're very concerned you can go ahead and report it, maybe if it's very illegal stuff it could trigger the AI to take it down

What makes it easier?
 
You can delete it if you are the administrator of that group.
 
You need to have administrator privileges for the group.

If you’re not admin of that group you can’t delete the group. But you can report to Facebook they will check if your report is true then they will take down
 
If there is something objectionable about the group you can contact the administration or report it to facebook

Of course it's possible, but you can't remove it yourself. You need to have evidence and report it directly to the Fb team. Try it multiple times and with different accounts... that will increase the success rate.
