Why does Quora keep flagging or hiding my questions when I am just trying to ask for basic business advice?

Recently joined the platform to get some advice on SEO and website building for my local business.

However almost every time I submit a question it gets flagged for review or hidden even though i am using proper grammar and not adding any links. Am I triggering an automated spam filter by mistake?

How can a new user avoid this?

A lot of AI stuff lately probably hard to detect what’s real and what’s not. Especially if you have a new profile .

This is actually common for new Quora users. In most cases It does not mean that you have done anything wrong. Quora users automated systems to detect spam ,low quality content and unusual account activity. New accounts sometimes get reviewed more often because they have not built up a history on the platform yet.

Could be Quora's spam filter new accounts often get reviewed more strictly especially if you are posting several questions in a short time try engaging with existing questions and answers first build some activity on the account and then post your own questions more gradually

I've seen this happen with new accounts even when the questions were completely legitimate.

Is your account very new? If there's an old account seller, try buying one, or continue posting without spamming and your account will be activated.

Yes, new accounts often trigger filters even if the post looks normal. It’s not always about grammar or links. Sometimes it’s account age, low activity, certain keywords, posting too many questions too quickly, or making threads that look promotional even when they are not.
I’d start by replying to a few existing threads first instead of creating new ones right away. Keep the posts short, avoid repeating the same topic, don’t mention services too much, and don’t add anything that looks like you are trying to promote your business.
After you build a bit of activity and your account looks more natural, your posts usually have a better chance of going through without being hidden.
