4 Months Selling IPTV, $6,318 Revenue, But I’m Done With It. What’s Next?

Affiliate offers like VPNs, antivirus, hosting, AI tools, password managers, etc. work great because they convert well on Reddit and require zero customer support from your side just drive traffic and collect commissions.
Will give it a try, thanks :)

You clearly know how to drive real traffic and convert on Reddit that skill alone is worth more than the IPTV grind. If you want something with zero support and no instant-delivery stress, shift to:
  • Affiliate offers (VPN, antivirus, AI tools, hosting, password managers)
  • Digital micro-services you can automate (account setups, templates, tools)
  • Lead gen funnels for niches that pay per lead
  • Reddit → SaaS trials → recurring commissions
  • Airdrop/quest referrals if you want easy CPA-style earnings
Basically, use your traffic-building skills but plug them into offers where you don’t have to babysit customers 24/7. That’s the cleanest upgrade from IPTV.

Hello,

I'm in the same situation. I started 1 year ago on Reddit, and it was going well. High karma/ aged account + upvote/ coments posts, and bigo. I couldn't say exactly how much I earned during that time, but one thing is for sure: it easily exceeded $15,000 USD. Now, here's where I am:
I'm lost. There's more and more competition, more and more DMCA issues, and frankly, customer service is just impossible to manage. $75 for a year of customer support is a real disaster. Especially on weekend evenings, and let's not even talk about the time difference ( US, Canada, the Middle East, and Europe....) I'm getting old because, and my social life is suffering. Anyway, if you've found any new interesting business opportunities or if you know how to improve all this, please reply.

@Zenus and @Hunter spirit : What kind of customer service problems do customers contact you about? Is there any way you can just fix the problems that they have 100% so that they don't bug you?

No, this isn't possible. From experience, here's the top support enquires we get (which we handle with predefined replies and AI responses)

  1. Login not working - 90% of the time due to typos in user/pass/server by user
  2. How do I install X app.
  3. What app do I need for X device
  4. Can I remove/PW protect the Adult folder
  5. Buffering
  6. UK Blocks
  7. Tutorial Requests
  8. Bouquet adjustment requests

I was going to ask you this too but forgot to include your username! Thanks. What are bouquet adjustment requests?

What about including answers to all of those questions in an FAQ on the site that you can point them to? If you are using predefined responses and AI, just point them to all of those same answers already on your website and that should eliminate 95% of customer problems, no? (I understand this is naive, but let me know why.)

Old school "FAQ" tables on commercial websites aren't optimal. They are static, meaing if they don't adequately address the visitors query or concerns you will see a noticible dropoff in conversions/leads as a direct result. You'd be forgiven for thinking "If this happened I'd expect them to locate & navigate to the contact us page and message for further clarification". But that's not how it works in reality. Over a significant sample size you'd likely see a dropoff of anything between 30-50%.

Predefined replies that are triggered to respond to support tickets can be personalised. It's not like talking to an AI chatbot. With a little consideration you can make these predefined appear as though it's a support agent replying. The key peice of advice when doing this though, is to provide a 1-click button for the customer to click if they still need assistance and then its queued for manual reply. An alternative to this is add something like "simply reply to this message if you still need help" and it's queued.

However you go about it - whether that's automation, semi automation - or predefined replies... make it super easy for the customer to request to speak to a real person and/or request an email reply from your team. There is NOTHING that will kill your conversion rate more than overreliance on AI/FAQ/Predefined responses and making it irritatingly difficult/unclear for the customer to request a human response.

Final point, the reason why FAQ tables/dropdowns are now oldhat and suboptimal is that psychologically once a customer has got in touch and started the process of communicating, you're conversion rate rises, that's just fact. It's personalised. Remember, there are 1000's of IPTV providers. It's false to think that customers buy from you based on trial performance alone. Responsiveness and quality of quality support matters just as much. If you make it difficult/cumbersome or worse, time consuming to get a real reply from a human - why would they buy IPTV from you... what happens when the service goes down or they have technical issues? A static FAQ table isn't going to sell it to them.

Jeeze, you really are full of information and experience.

Like @XrumerGeek said, it's always about the buffering issues and installation app. If you know the server you're using and the location of your client, you can bypass the restrictions easily. But it depends on the server you're using. For me, I'm using my own domain so this way the ISP won't block it in case the main URL of server is down.

Only those who have actually experienced making money in this field can truly understand.

( Money vs peace of mind )

– Imagine you’re with your family. It’s your 5-year-old daughter’s birthday, and you receive a message that you have to answer. You have to reply immediately because a client in the US can’t watch an NBA game.

– Sunday: everything is fine. You have a hobby, let’s say making music. It’s your only moment alone, your creative time. In the middle of an inspired session, you receive a message. You have to answer because a client can’t watch a match, or a customer can’t find episode 5 in German of *Emily in Paris*.

– The next day you wake up—boom. PayPal or another payment gateway is suspended. You either have to buy a new account, which is expensive and risky because many of these accounts are fake.

Before going to sleep, you ask yourself just one question: is it really worth it?

I’d rather earn less and spend more time having control over my day. And don’t talk to me about automated AI replies. The foundation of this business is human relationships. If you don’t respond, a customer can destroy your reputation, request a refund, and go somewhere else—even if your server is excellent.

Anyway, help me find something else to do. Something simple, not really complicated.

Thanks, friends.

If PayPal limitations are having a significant impact on your business; you are underutilising accounts. Should be creating new ones every month. Relying on 2 or 3 PayPal accounts for IPTV on any reasonable scale is buisiness suicide. 20+ for peace of mind that you'll never have to worry again.

With agentic AI, don't you think you can answer almost 90% queries instantly without you burning out on customer support? I don't have experience in this field but just my 2 cents. If you can train the Ai agents, that way you can scale. And for DMCA, why not exploring offshore?

Nice work man, I can see you did go with it and didn't change fields. I have some basic questions I wanna ask you if you don't mind. can you DM me please? My account is new-ish so i can't send DMs (I guess??). thanks in advance and good luck!

What if I provide the support for you and work together? I have two SaaS getting online soon

If you made this just from iptv then imagine what could you do with other tons of digital services. I mean you already got the customers and ways to find them. But i would love to know why are you not doing it anymore if it has given you a profit. And if you're up for it would love to connect. I might help you with some stuff as also have experience in this field
