Hello, I hope everyone is doing okey, I'm looking to build a small, self-contained device farm using 3–4 dedicated Android phones to automatically create and publish TikTok slideshows promoting my iOS app — targeting 5 posts per device per day (15 posts total across all devices). The content would be generated automatically (AI-created slides, captions, hashtags) and published without manual intervention. I'm not looking for a massive operation — just a simple, reliable mini-farm that runs on autopilot. I'd love guidance from someone who has done something similar: which approach is better for controlling the devices, Appium (software-based automation) or a hardware solution like an ESP32 via OTG? I'm open to learning from scratch — repos, code examples, and basic architecture explanations are all welcome

For a small setup like that, Appium/ADB is probably the better starting point. Much easier to manage, scale, debug, and integrate with AI content pipelines compared to ESP32 hardware control.

If you still decide to go the Android way, adb is definitely easier. If you choose iOS, there’s a ready platform perfectly matching the setup you’ve described (“autopilot” with AI-created slides, captions, hashtags).
 
Phone farms work better with Ios. Android phones are limited for tiktok when it comes to phone farms

That s totally false. I can tell that you have no clue how to do it.

We ve actually managed to have a farm of 20 phones posting across 500 accounts, all getting views. There are some nuances to automating Androids which took us quite some research but Android works well if you know your stuff

Appium is the cleaner pick for this setup, ESP32 via OTG is just extra complexity u dont need at this scale. For 3 ,4 devices Appium handles it fine. Main thing is ur proxy game, each device needs its own residential IP or TikTok will link the accounts fast. AI content generation part is straightforward, just make sure each post has enough variation or ur slideshows gonna get flagged for duplicate content.
 
Mini farms still work if you keep it small and don’t spam hard. Real devices + good proxies matter way more than fancy automation tools. I’ve seen people burn farms fast just because they reused IPs/accounts too much.

but i've heard that tiktok detect WDA, so the trick would be to change the bundle id or stuff like this? I'm also trying the esp32 route
