I rarely see experienced SEOs using heavily exact match anchors aggressively anymore are branded and natural anchor profiles becoming increasingly important for maintaining long term ranking stability in competitive industries
Yeah it does feel like SEO has moved back toward more natural anchor profiles overall, over optimized exact match anchors seem riskier than they used to be
Yes,Natural and branded anchors are much safer now for long term stability.Aggressive exact match anchors still work sometimes, but they also increase risk, especially in competitive niche. Most experienced SEOs I see are mixing branded ,generic, and partial match anchors to keep the profile looking natural and balanced.
Branded and natural anchors are definitely safer for long term stability. Using aggressive exact match anchors still creates an unusual pattern for Google. So, we need to mix it with branded, generic, naked, and partial match anchors to look more natural. Exact match anchors can still work, but overdoing it in competitive niches affects our site for sure.
I have been learning more toward branded and natural anchors as well. They tend to fit more naturally within content and create a more balanced link oprofile. I still use descriptive anchors when they are relevant but i avoid forcing exact match phrases into every link.
Yes Branded and natural anchors have become the safer long term approach Exact match anchors still work but I only use them selectively on highly relevant pages A balanced anchor profile is much more sustainable in competitive niches than relying on keyword anchors
