For me i never open emails so every email marketing fails for myself. i think whatsapp broadcast channel or instagram broadcast channel has a better open rate.
what do you think
I understand your point, and honestly a lot of people say the same thing because their inbox is usually full of low-quality spam or promotional emails they never asked for. But that doesn’t mean email marketing is dead. It really depends on the industry, targeting, and how professionally it’s done.
For example, in industries like eCommerce, SaaS, finance, affiliate marketing, and iGaming, email is still one of the highest ROI channels when the infrastructure and segmentation are done correctly. A good email campaign is not just “send millions of emails and pray.” There’s a whole system behind it — deliverability, domain reputation, warmup, personalization, segmentation, automation flows, A/B testing, timing, etc.
Also, email has one big advantage compared to platforms like Instagram or WhatsApp: you actually own the audience. Social platforms can ban accounts, limit reach, change algorithms, or reduce visibility anytime. With email, if your setup is strong, you control the communication directly.
You’re right that WhatsApp and Instagram broadcasts usually have higher open rates, but they also come with limitations — scaling, account bans, compliance issues, country restrictions, and lower long-term stability. That’s why most serious companies use multiple channels together instead of relying only on one.
In my opinion, email marketing is far from dead. Bad email marketing is dead.
