Tbh, I feel you. Email open rates have been tanking for years unless you’re hyper-niche or running advanced warm up flows. Broadcast channels (WhatsApp/IG) kill it because they ride on push notifications way higher attention span compared to inbox.

I’ve actually been testing hybrid funnels where IG/WA broadcasts warm the lead first, then retargeting + email only closes high-ticket offers. Works surprisingly well when you know how to sequence it.

Curious though, in your experience, which platform brought you the fastest conversions?

Yeah Many business Do email marketing for connect audience directly I doing Email marketing since 2022 and I Got 50 clients monthly with email marketing for my server

Email feels like a slow burn, but for building trust over time it still beats just blasting DMs in my experience.

If email marketing wasn’t worth it, it would’ve been dead long ago. The fact that it’s still around shows it works — that’s why businesses still invest in it. People work hard to build good reputation, avoid getting blocked, and make sure they land in the inbox. It may not be perfect, but it’s still powerful when done right.

You need to have a list of interested audience at first. That's where the success lies. You can't just blast them around and expect magic.

Yeah just spamming people with an offer (even they are in the target) that they didn't ask for will lead to bad result. The best option is to personalise each email but it's taking so much time.

True, email open rates have dropped a lot lately. WhatsApp and Instagram broadcasts definitely get better engagement since they’re more direct and personal. Still, email works well for long-form offers or newsletters, while broadcast channels are perfect for quick updates or promotions. Best to mix both if possible.

Facts. Emails are turning into noise for most users. Broadcast channels feel more “direct” and personal — higher open rate, faster response, less friction.

If I hear "less friction" one more time, I will violate you, ChatGPT.

Emails are kinda outdated, but if you’ve got a solid, targeted list it can still work really well

Of course it’s still worth it, if you know what you’re doing.
It’s not like 10 years ago when you could blast your whole list and still hit primary lol.
These days you gotta segment more, clean out non-openers, and hit engaged leads more to boost reputation, however
still one of the best channels if done right.

I understand your point, and honestly a lot of people say the same thing because their inbox is usually full of low-quality spam or promotional emails they never asked for. But that doesn’t mean email marketing is dead. It really depends on the industry, targeting, and how professionally it’s done.

For example, in industries like eCommerce, SaaS, finance, affiliate marketing, and iGaming, email is still one of the highest ROI channels when the infrastructure and segmentation are done correctly. A good email campaign is not just “send millions of emails and pray.” There’s a whole system behind it — deliverability, domain reputation, warmup, personalization, segmentation, automation flows, A/B testing, timing, etc.

Also, email has one big advantage compared to platforms like Instagram or WhatsApp: you actually own the audience. Social platforms can ban accounts, limit reach, change algorithms, or reduce visibility anytime. With email, if your setup is strong, you control the communication directly.

You’re right that WhatsApp and Instagram broadcasts usually have higher open rates, but they also come with limitations — scaling, account bans, compliance issues, country restrictions, and lower long-term stability. That’s why most serious companies use multiple channels together instead of relying only on one.

In my opinion, email marketing is far from dead. Bad email marketing is dead.

Open rates may be higher on messaging platforms, but email still gives you more control and ownership of your audience. Ideally, I'd use both rather than relying entirely on one channel.

Yes, WhatsApp and Instagram broadcast channels usually get much higher open rates because people check them more often than email.

Email still works for long-term marketing, but for fast engagement and instant clicks, messaging platforms are often stronger.

depends on what you are doing specifically, and whether your audience opted in or if you are doing cold emails. Cold emails are much harder and they rely heavily on the copy itself

It's still worth it for sure if you have a good quality email list.
