You are talking about a new personally farmed account? normally the only rule I follow is scaling when my ads are profitable, meta will gradually increase budgets.
A good account should have no issues being set on a few hundred to begin with, it just won't spend it all... going to high might trigger meta but it all depends on the product you are promoting, there is no logic in let's say running a 50 to 100$ product on 20 bucks, you will want at least X3 the spend of the product payout you are promoting.
Follow logic, possibly start a engagement campaign on a few bucks first but in general it should not matter if the ad account is well farmed.
Let's say I am a new company coming to the market, new ad account and the product is around 500 bucks, as a company I would allocate a marketing budget and that's the norm for most companies starting with meta.
For BH it's mostly about building trust and would go with 50 to 150 max at first and a clean engagement ad first just because you dont want to trigger someone or AI to look to much into your account.
