Best Way to Create & Verify an Instagram Account for an AI Influencer?

Hey guys,

I’m planning to build an Instagram account around an AI influencer model

I had a few doubts before starting properly:
  • Should I create the account using my real personal details?
  • If Instagram asks for a video selfie verification later, can I verify using my own real face even though the AI influencer obviously looks different?
  • Has anyone here successfully verified an AI influencer account with their own identity/details?
  • Also wondering if getting a blue badge later is possible for AI influencer pages, and whether it needs to match the AI persona or the real account owner.
Would appreciate advice from people already running AI influencer / OFM pages at scale.

You can just appeal and use your own ID; however it might just be best to say that you were using AI in the caption to begin with so that you follow the TOS and the account stays safer.
 
ig cares about account ownership not persona. verification tied to real person behind account, not the ai face. mismatch isn’t issue. just make it transperent that your model is AI with marking your posts as AI

You should state that your influencer is an AI model and you won't have any problems with Instagram. You can verify the account yourself either with a selfie or a video.
 
yeah IG just wants to know who is behind the account in case it does any fishy / illegal stuff.
 
IG has no problem with AI video, you just have to discolse you're making AI videos. If you don't label your videos, they'll get taken down eventually, and viewers don't care if it's AI or not if the content is good

If your plan for AI influencer is NSFW then the verification will be way harder. Some of my SFW AI influencers have not gotten any verification requests yet.
 
I’d personally use real details for security/recovery, but keep in mind verification can get messy later if the AI persona and the real identity don’t match at all. Video selfie checks are usually just to prove a real human owns the account, but for stuff like monetization or blue badge verification, Meta may want clearer links between the persona and the real owner.
 
Better use real details for account safety but keep the branding around the AI persona. Many people verify AI pages using their own identity if selfie check comes main thing is keeping account activity natural and consistent to avoid flags later
 
Most people use their real details for account security and recovery. If Instagram ever asks for selfie verification, you can usually use your own face since they were verifying the actual account owner, not the AI model itself. And yeah, AI influencer pages can still get verified, but the verification is usually tied to the real person or company managing the account.
