For me it is mostly

Meta Ad Library -> competitor screenshots -> spreadsheet with action/hooks/offer -> shortlist -> swipe folder

This is still extremely manual.
Are there any better ways?

Your workflow is actually pretty solid already. Most media buyers I know still rely heavily on manual research because it helps spot patterns AI tools often miss.

One thing that helped me was organizing creatives by angles instead of just saving random ads. For example:

  • pain point
  • curiosity hook
  • UGC style
  • authority/testimonial
  • before-after
  • offer structure

That makes it easier to remix winning concepts instead of constantly hunting for new ones.

You can also speed things up by using AI for variations only after identifying a winning hook manually. The biggest gains usually come from testing new angles and hooks, not from making 50 tiny creative changes.

Meta Ad Library + swipe folders still seems to be the core process for most people running ads at scale honestly.

No one wants to widely share their personal money-making secrets.
