Youtube 0 reach problem, what did I do wrong?

Trying to restart a new shorts channel in a completely different niche, and I have done the following.


  • New US Phone number ( to get the channel verified)
  • New Gmail ( 1-2 months old)
  • Newly Created Channel ( 1-3 days)
  • Channel art
  • Channel Icon
  • Channel Thumbnail
  • Channel tags

    I've done all the above, and now uploading for 3 days, 4 videos up. But getting 0 reach on all the shorts,
    The content is unique, with added commentary and edits.


    I am by no means a newbie in this space ( largest channel 983K), since I do have experience growing Youtube channels both longform and short form, but this is the first time I ever experience this. Normally it would just get 1-100 views with 1k+ reach to let you know your content is just bad, but this is has never occured before.

    Any ideas, would be helpful.


    Should I just chuck it on Reddit to get the first real views, just so it is on people's radar?

Welcome back to the YT game! Yeah everything just changed since you were ballin' there before! This is normal now, but dont resort to any other tactic yet they are smarter than ever on detection. But organic outreach is the way to go for starting again now and add some ai description that is optimized! Just chill and update us in a week or two and go back to basic organic building like reddit you mentioned! Keep hustlin'!
 
You have to wait longer. 3 days is nothing
 
Have earlier channels on same setup device got any penalty? They might be tracing you.
 
Well sometimes youtube make this to new accounts with no reson and i see also on tiktok .I would try also with another account ,then if hapens again then you do something wrong

Nope completely disconnected from the main channels, also other IP and devices.
 
Wait longer than 3 days, at least 2 weeks to wait
 
This is completely normal, youtube needs time to figure out who to push your videos to.
Try advertising your channel on reddit / social media to get it going and help youtube figuring out who your audience is.
 
I have the same problem with my original account, but I don't have this problem with other accounts
It's very awkward, like my original google account that I use to organically watch videos, is kinda shadowbanned (I don't know why, even comments)
I'd suggest you to open a new channel using another google account (and make it with another phone number)
 
Are you working on the audience?

Are you watching competitors videos?

Are you interacting? (Commenting on others videos, replying the comments in yours)

Are you creating a community (or using your channel community label)?

Are you pushing your videos in other social networks o sharing them in reddit/telegram?

Are you using the right titles/hashtags?

Is your work at least as good as competitors one to make their audience have interest in watching also your content?

Did u use that same device/phone or did u did all this in a brand new phone or old phone (factory reset)
 
Youtube is giving too much problem nowadays
