I got this problem yesterday when new instagram update cames up i asked meta support whar to do but that doesn't give me confidence do you know anything more do you have a similar or the same problem and what to do in this situation?

I don’t think contacting support will really solve ur problem, even they might not "fully understand" what the platform has updated yet.

Yeah, a lot of people started having similar issues after the latest Instagram update. Usually it's a bug from Meta's side, so the best thing is to wait a bit, update the app, clear cache and avoid changing settings too much. Meta support replies are often generic, but these problems normally get fixed in the next updates.

It's probably a bug since many people have reported the same as you. You should wait it out for 2-3 days and if it doesn't get resolved you should contact support again.

Best thing is not to spam actions or keep retrying things too much right now. Sometimes these problems calm down after a few days once they finish rolling out updates

Add some rest days in between, then start actions after 3 days. That should help with the "Cool Down" period and the account should be good to go from there.

Instead of trying to get an official answer from Meta support—where even the technical staff often lag behind hidden AI updates—you take the initiative by cutting off the data source. Completely freezing your account for 3 days is essentially a "plot twist" that causes Instagram's AI to lose track of your past behavior, removes your heavily monitored status, and forces the system to re-evaluate your account as a normal user when you return.

I don't understand what the problem is. so what happens to you when an update gets released exactly?

or i'm missing something?

yes, a lot of people seem to face random issues after Instagram updates, so it is probably not just your account. Sometimes features break, reach drops, or settings change temporarily until Meta fixes things on their side.Usually people try clearing cache, updating/reinstalling the app, or just waiting a few days because many update-related problems fix themselves. Meta support replies are often very generic, so I understand why you do not feel confident about them.

Yeah a lot of people got hit after the last update, reach dropped hard for some accounts. Usually fixes itself after few days if it’s update related. I’d avoid spammy activity for now and just keep posting normal content/reels consistently.

When IG drops a massive update, they don't just fix bugs, they update their spam/bot detection thresholds and scrape logic.

What usually happens: they reset or tighten the trust score matrix for accounts. If your account was doing heavy manual outreach, or even just scraping/reposting, you get caught in the new filter and your reach drops to zero for non-followers. What did you do with your account that could have get you flagged ?
