$10k month with Mobile Apps

Update:
It took some time, but my biggest app that I built has started generating some MRR a month ago. Currently making around $100 passive

That's great journey, but also consider the scaling of your project, like firebase is costy right now maybe should find another alternative?

UPDATE:
Has been a year since i launched. I made 6 apps and only the biggest most complex app is making money, rest are all 0.
Current MRR around $500
Might not be much for a lot of you, but in my country it's good.

I discovered my love for programming & building great products. And i got quite good at programming and system architecture really fast. Maybe my physics background helped.
Anyways, now I have pivoted into game dev and currently building a game for Steam. Why? Because i always thought;

Why doesn't this game exist on PC?

Enjoying my life. Play, work on something I love, play.
And dont forget to take care of your health! That's our most important asset: health > wealth & relationship.

If you optimize your local caching well and try to make as few reads as possible, firestore is quite cheap. (You should work on caching anyways as that is where the real speed lies)
I pay like a dollar per month for firebase.

Hey, honestly I think that’s already really good for making a living! and for you it seems very scalable too. Why not focus more on scaling that one successful app?
Also, how much are you spending on ads to make that $500 MRR? Feels like if you optimize a few things, you could probably double the revenue from that app.

Ya, it's good. It is scalable i believe, i just don't know how to scale it.
Spending around $15 per month on apple ads. I started it and forgot about it.

I still spend a decent amount of time every week in improving the app and responding to all support requests. I have not much to do anyway
