I know it sounds outdated, but I’m curious whether anyone here still experiments with Myspace for niche traffic or backlinks. Is there any practical use case left for marketers in 2026?

Honestly, I haven’t seen anyone generate meaningful traffic from Myspace in years. Most of the activity there feels dead or heavily bot-driven now. Maybe it could still work for niche music promotion, but for serious traffic generation, platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, or even Pinterest are far more worth the time in 2026.

I still use MySpace regularly to drive traffic, and I've found that it can still be effective. Instead of posting about a wide variety of topics, I focus on creating content around a specific niche.

Trying to use Myspace for SEO or traffic nowadays is a complete waste of time since profile links are nofollow, spam flagged and real users are long gone; focus on Reddit, Quora, or Medium instead for actual niche engagement.
