Hi...I am an admin to a pool league group which has 300 members. I want to send a message to 299 of them, and leave 1 member out, as we are trying to organise something for him without his knowledge...Is there a way to do this ....?

You could create a separate group chat without that one member, or simply send a broadcast/message to everyone individually except him. Sounds like a great surprise though.

Not gonna lie, most group apps don’t make that easy—you usually can’t target “everyone except one person” in a clean way. The workaround is basically making a separate broadcast list or manually messaging the 299, which is annoying but that’s how most admins do it. Or just post a general message and handle the private part outside the group so you don’t risk exposing it by mistake.

i think it's hard to do this normally. you can create one new group chat with 299 people and send message there.

i havae one way. u should make a group chat for all members and inform them in group

The only two ways you can do this are either creating a group chat and not inviting the member you want to exclude, or sending DMs to everybody apart from that certain person .

it's impossible to do that bro. facebook don't have that function, I think we just can do manually one by one, you should create 1 new group with 299 members, post in group and tag them.

as far as I know, the current platforms don't have automatic "exclude 1 person" feature when you send message to group.
