I’ve been thinking about starting a new blog, but choosing the right niche feels harder now with so much competition everywhere. Some niches look profitable, but also seem overcrowded.

How are you guys choosing blogging niches in 2025, and what factors actually matter most for long-term growth?

people are choosing niches they actually enjoy because blogging takes a long time to grow. a good niche is one with steady search traffic low competition in smaller topics and ways to make money later. instead of chasing crowded niches focus on solving specific problems better than other blogs. anything else I can help you with also I would be interested in hearing your niche

I am choosing blogging niches based on my preferences and likes. In that way I don't quit and continue to work even if my blogs/websites don't get traction in the first 2-3 months.
 
Focus on niche that allows you to write a lot and has a lot of search interest, while keeping competition low.
