I’m also focusing only on white-hat lately. What’s working for me is mostly guest posting + content that naturally attracts links (like guides or stats posts). Digital PR looks powerful too, but still learning that part. For finding opportunities, I usually check competitor backlinks and then filter out low-quality sites by looking at traffic, relevance, and if the site looks legit (not just made for links).

You can check what kind of backlinks your competitors have and go get them yourself. Also you need to do analysis on the websites/blogs that are relevant to your website via Ahrefs or Semrush in order to understand if they have spammy/bad links.

Guest posts are still one of the most practical white-hat options, especially if you use real marketplaces instead of random outreach only. Collaborator is useful if your geo fits their marketplace, and WhitePress is a solid option if you want something more international.

I’d also not ignore brand visibility channels like Facebook. It may not give you strong direct links, but it can still help with awareness, shares, and getting your content seen by the kind of people who may later link to it naturally.

Spot on. I always look for sites that rank for their own keywords before reaching out. Currently, I'm focusing on high-quality guest posts because natural link building takes a lot of time, especially for new projects. But yeah, finding sites with real organic traffic is the only way to stay safe after all these Google updates
