Be careful with new Festinger's website (grootmade.com)

Hello, I rarely post or read here anymore, but I came hoping to get some help. Then I found this thread.

I purchased a lifetime Festinger Vault membership quite a while ago. A few weeks ago, I started getting invoices for it. I also couldn’t login to the new Grootmade site. I reached out to their support and was given access to my lifetime membership at Grootmade. The invoices have also stopped.

However, today I got a message through their system saying that I would have to write a TrustPilot review for them to restore my access to my lifetime membership! I’m infuriated.

I wanted to let you all know that they are running this new scam and that you should not trust any reviews on TrustPilot. I have reported them to TrustPilot, and hopefully, their profile will be shut down.

I really, really need this service as I cannot hope to afford all the plug-ins I’m using through them. Is there an alternative? I just want what I paid for!

They area joke, Scam!
Asked for a positive review on trustpilot to enable lifetime.
Than CANCEL the lifetime plan and ask to pay a plan.

I change the review to 1 star, they BANNED me. :suspicious:

Such a bad service, unstable, old plugins and themes.

Don't even bother, I left positive review and they took out my lifetime anyway trying to make me buy more acess.

Just contest the charge on your credit card and do a chargeback.

My license wasn't transferred, but my account was; I had a lifetime license. They still haven't responded to the ticket I opened two days ago...

2-3 years ago, I got from Festinger vault one membership plugin.
Then after 2 weeks, building website, configuration, making content, all was removed and my domain was redirecting to p*rn.
Nobody belived me.
I totaly resigned from Wordpress then, but I think these plugins can be just not nulled by him, but downloaded from some warez.
He have used only position here to charge for them. Because, it's impossible to "null" all these plugins and themes by single person. He would need to have full time team. Even to build GPL from sources some of these plugin company publish on github.
Many plugins have source in a form -> compile, then you have. But procedure is complicated. Wordpress GPL licence not telling you must to publish it in ready to use form. Source code can be even in .txt files
 
I got invoice too, Should I be worried? I don't remember entering my card info.

he got the nulled plugins and themes from some more underground maybe regionl eg Russian forums not popular here LOL
 
Another month, another bill. This time for $54, and it came a full month after they claimed to have honored my GDPR deletion request.

Time to escalate I guess...
 
A shame really I thought Martin was a decent guy.

But he turned around and deposited his excrement right into our faces.
 
I had charges after quiting too, somehow i got rid of it but it was a hell of a process...

About scammers they don't care as much, Stripe is a joke

Everyone should use virtual cards, temporary ones, easy to delete when paying for any service like that, I hope he is not taking money from BHW members right now

Nah, he simply used to download them from multiple other GPL websites.
 
Has anyone managed to contact Martin from Festingervault? Yesterday I realized that my account was charged AGAIN (the same case was a year ago) with the amount of 99 USD. I have cancelled ANY of subscriptions long time ago. Last year I managed to find Martin from Festingervault on this forum and ordered full refund immediately for unauthorized charge and removal of my card detail from their system. This year HE did it AGAIN - on transaction details there is only "Festingervault" and their phone number. I receive no answer, neither via email nor via SMS. Does anyone know where to catch this guy?

Call your bank to reject future charges from this merchant. Or order a new a card. Martin is a scammer, even if you manage to talk to him, he will just lie or charge you again, like every scammer does.

You're doomed, sadly. All you can do is cancel your card and file a chargeback with your bank. Festinger will NOT remove your card, and your card will be charged AGAIN next year. You will keep getting charged as long as the card is active. He is a fraudster. Plenty of examples in this thread and others.
