Hey everyone,

I currently have a small Instagram page with under 5k followers. I am wondering if it is possible to monetize at this level or if I should focus only on growing first.

Are brands still willing to collaborate with small pages? What are the best monetization methods for low follower accounts affiliate marketing, shoutouts, or something else?

Yes you can monetize even with under 5k but brands usually care more about engagement than followers i started with affiliate links and small shoutouts first and it worked better than waiting for brand deals

Many people want to collaborate with you, but the cost will be very low. I think it would be better if you increased your follower count.
 
Yes, you can monetize under 5k. Trust and consistency matter more than follower count. Focus on niche engagement, use affiliate marketing or small brand deals.

once engagement is great, what you post and depending on who your audience is.

What niche does your account belong to?
 
You won’t make crazy money yet, but you can definitely start testing what works. Instead of chasing brand deals, focus on things you control: affiliate products, simple offers, or even creating content for brands (UGC).
 
If you already have good engagement, you post consistently, and your pages are dedicated to a specific topic, that should be easy. High engagement is bettet than huge following
 
Small pages can still make money if the audience is niche and engaged

Brands care more about trust and interaction now than raw follower count in a lot of cases. Affiliate offers usually work better early on than trying to sell shoutouts

It's really tough. Sponsors usually run ads on accounts with 20,000 or more followers. I think you need even more followers to make money from subscriptions.

One can make money with under 5k followers if his audience is active and trusts him. small pages often do well with affiliate marketing digital products and small brand deals in a specific niche. focus on engagement and consistent content first because brands now care more about active followers than big numbers.
 
If your page already has solid engagement, consistent posting, and a clear niche, you’re in a strong position.
