I realized pretty fast that there’s no single “correct build” for making money after leaving a job, everyone just specs into different skills and opportunities over time. A lot of people’s first real financial win came from stacking small things consistently, like freelancing, selling a service, starting a side business, or getting really good at something niche before it compounded. Feeling lost at first is honestly part of the loading screen when you leave the normal career path.

If you can tolerate your current job, you can continue doing it while trying to develop a side hustle or something you enjoy. If the side hustle goes well, you can then quit your job – this is a better scenario.

If you really can't stand it and are experiencing mental or physical problems, then take a gap year.

I wish you a better work-life balance and that you find something you love.

You must be new here if you haven’t noticed how this forum is getting drowned in these generic account farm threads followed by ai bots answers.

And the fact that op doesn’t use multi reply and reply to each individually says it all that he’s just an account farmer

Yeah, im quite new here but I noticed it already. I also generate comments using ai but for youtube to promote my site, and I recognize the patterns miles away.

I'm wondering why they do this. Its shitting in your own nest...

I didn't originally intend to reply, as being misunderstood is the fate of those who express themselves. However, several friends have commented on the AI's reply, so I feel it's necessary to explain. I do use AI, but because I rarely use foreign forums and my English isn't very good, I was worried that my wording might cause misunderstandings among forum members. Therefore, before replying, I would send the message to AI for correction or use a page translation (because of the page translation, I accidentally posted something in non-English and was warned by the administrator). So, it might have a slightly 'AI' feel. Whether you believe it or not, I did look into Brian Tracy, and I genuinely read your reply carefully. Like this paragraph, I typed it in my native language, translated it into English, and then copied it to reply to you. If it still feels strongly like AI, then I'm truly sorry; I'm gradually learning to express myself more naturally in English. Thank you again for your thoughtful reply.

They farm their accounts to gain authority, and then they will go over to the market place and claim to be experts and sell their bs services.

I got ripped off by an SEO "expert" from here. So be careful

There are many ways. One is blogging, another could be selling guest posts, backlinks, running facebook or google ads (you need to have experience in that though) or even joining an MLM, learning sales and growing your network through that way.

Most “first fortune” stories are just years of compounding, not sudden wins.
PM background is actually solid for freelancing or ops work if you position it right.

I'm in a similar boat, Managed by narcissists at work and it's causing me mental and physical health problems but I can't afford to quit yet :weep:.
