I clicked your link. The search function on these forum CMS platforms has not improved since 1998. It only searches for exact kws, with no real understanding of the topic’s content.

Nothing is dead unless you don't go after it. In 2011, you could spam Google to death with crappy links, and now there are a great many changes taking place. Please consider that people are using AI for their answers, but that AI is actually getting answers from higher sources.

I was talking to a great friend, and I said I remember back in the day, people would ask for your website, and now people just give you their social media. I am in no way an expert, but the best way to find answers to your questions is to keep researching yourself.

Try getting an aged domain, look up some guides here on BHW or elsewhere, and experiment. Look up how to rank on AI and that way you will be ahead of the game. I hope this helps a little, as I am very underqualified to answer this.

SEO is never dead. Usually, it is just people that methods worked for them for so long that they no longer work the way they used to, so the default response becomes "SEO is dead"

SEO is still pretty much alive and probably always will be. What you need to do to get results is stay open to what is working and discard what isnt anymore

I work with some of the smartest SEO people week in, week out and still see them getting results for clients, so it's hard for me to think SEO is dead. This is just my perspective though

The other thing again is to not optimize only for humans anymore. Optimize for LLMs as well and squeeze as much as possible from both ends

SEO never died — it just evolved.
Now it’s not only about ranking for humans, but also being understandable and quotable for AI tools and LLMs. Sites with real authority, structured info, brand trust, and unique insights are the ones getting surfaced by both Google and AI chatbots.
 
To be honest nothing has changed. People used to search on Google, now people doing the same thing with AI overview. Different layouts and options and sources are the same. What matters is source. You still need to optimize for bots, then if your information is valuable for the user and by making sure its citation (how many backlinks, originates or value of piece of content etc) it will appear.

SEO / AEO / AIO whatever it is, it uses information so yeah.

TBH nowdays people get anxious more may be due to GMO foods lol
 
Dead nope evolved and changed yes. People are yet spending and trying and that’s the key, don’t be stuck mix old and new upcoming methods.

Yes, SEO is clearly shifting toward AI-driven search, but in the end, content that is genuinely useful for people still wins.
Now it’s not just about stuffing keywords - clear structure, real answers, and expert content matter more, because both Google and AI bots are getting much better at understanding quality and context.
 
AI evolved since all these years only to kill SEO. When AI couldn't do it on its own, Google stepped in to help AI do it. Google will keep pushing AI until no one uses their search engine.
