I turned on notifications to get notified when someone posts a new story now I'm worried they know . Can they receive like a notification of something that says that user turned on notifications on your stories or something like that???

IG doesn't notify someone if you turn on story notifications for them. they won't know unless you tell them, they "might" know if you view their stories too soon after they've posted
