There isn't necessarily a fast way to do that. There's a way to reliably and consistently grow a group though, several in fact.
What's usually the fast method of growth (and that's fast with asterisks) comes from combining both ads for initial push, then organic content + community to retain and compound. Which is a lot easier to visualise on paper but execution is always tricky.

You can use ads to grow the group. Apart from that you should high quality content which can be reshard by your audience.

For 45–65 I wouldn’t overthink “hacks”, that crowd doesn’t really respond to that stuff.
What usually works better is simple, relatable content and actually getting people to talk in the group. Questions, opinions, everyday topics… not just posting links and disappearing.
Also most of the growth doesn’t really come from the group itself. It’s more about how you bring people in. Posts, pages, whatever you’re using outside, then moving them into the group.
Ads can help in the beginning, but if people don’t engage, it dies pretty fast anyway.

Better use your profile + the professional mode feature than a FB page their organic reach are near death. Post helpful content people will like on your profile make daily 30 friends target to your niche. In that same time post different content on your group, then invite your FB friends from your profile to your group , that is the slow without money organic way to grow. Learn scientific marketing, these are the people (not authors who writes books about that topic) who go viral with their posts, learn these skills.

for example you want to make group for selling agriculture product. then find pages likes john deer, fendt or new holand and follow their followers and send messages. please send max 10 to 20 messages daily. not more than that.
create your own facebook page and invite people to their and divert them to your group.
and spend some money on facebook ads.

For that age group, community feeling matters more than growth hacks. People will stay when the group feels active and relatable with them, u know that age group is kinda hard to convert but if u can convert them by ads or content, they would remain loyal for a really long time.

If your group niche choice is right, your group will grow fast. But if you want super fast, then you can run ads on your best posts. But you must have to be consistent.
