How has Instagram affected your standards in dating, if at all? Be honest

I’ve been thinking about this recently and I’m curious how other guys see it.

With how accessible everything is now, it feels like it’s changed what we find attractive over time.

For me, I’ve noticed:

certain body types starting to feel more “normal”

comparing without even meaning to

sometimes feeling less impressed in real life situations

I know it’s probably not the healthiest thing, but at the same time it’s hard to tell how much of it is just the environment we’re in now.

Genuinely curious how it’s affected other people, if at all.

Users are now able to send messages to any person they want; even if that means they are in a different country, People are more connected; however; there are 2 ways to look at things and a little bit of both.

With Instagram, Competition and Standards have increased, Everyone wants a fancy lifestyle, a 6 Ft Guy who's rich in his 20s. But thats way too unrealistic, Its a curse actually.

Instagram is good app with effect in dating and cordial relationship with the app function,it is encourage to view reels with picture of every profile to expose more about they look and stylings.

ig trains your brain to compare fast. endless options makes ppl less impressed and more picky. but once u step away, perspective usually resets pretty quick

Yeah 6 ft guys who are rich even in their 30s are probably in the 0.01% of the population.

It's easy to fall into the trap of comparing and feeling less impressed by real-life interactions, even if you know it's not the healthiest mindset
