Sales Funnel - Awareness

Learning about the sales funnel a lot this week - might sound dumb but for as long as I’ve been on this site I’ve never looked at marketing the same way I looked at programming.

I had a call with another user from BHW and there was the idea of building a scraper that goes on Facebook and collects emails of people that are on certain pages. I tried this and I wanted to give some metrics:

5 pages scraped
7,540 Profiles Visited
0 emails obtained

So that’s not the right method. I have another strategy I’m currently testing now which is a lot more promising. Will update again soon.

Oh wow - okay it's been 2.5 years since I last posted on this account...

This product died roughly around the same time as the final post.

Since then I built my second startup taking another year to build and market for me to be wiped out by Opus clips.

Then I built my third startup which took around 8 months to build and market (meditation app called Nadeen) and while it crossed ~300 users and made decent cash it wasn't the one to hit it big.

I built many other products in-between those startups (all failing) and have worked at 3 other startups CTO or Founding Engineering roles.


I might be posting on here some more since I got my account details again.
 
Okay, let's release the MVP early this month. Don't overthink SEO or content right now; launch first and optimize later. Working alone means you need to be quick and efficient; ship it first, then figure things out.
