I’m trying to understand which affiliate programs are currently the most reliable for beginners in terms of conversions and long-term stability.
Would appreciate insights from people who have tested different programs and can share what actually works today.

Amazon is still the best for beginners due to its trust despite lower commissions.

are the beginner friendly programs you're looking for ones that have been around for a while or newer ones that are supposedly more stable long term?

For beginners I'd skip "every program" mode and pick one of these by skill match:
1. SaaS programs (ConvertKit/Beehiiv/Notion-like) — long cookies, recurring commissions, low chargebacks. Good fit if you can write tutorials.
2. Geo-niche review sites — pick one country/vertical (e.g. Canadian online services, German health products, Australian crypto) where you actually understand the local context. Easier to rank with thin competition vs. global keywords.
3. Amazon Associates — boring but it teaches conversion fundamentals. Build there for 6 months, learn product-page anatomy, then move up to higher-margin programs.
The trap most beginners fall into is jumping into "high-payout" verticals (gambling, forex, weight loss) without understanding compliance and traffic-source rules. You'll burn ad budget faster than you build experience. Start where the rules are clear and the audience is forgiving.

I’ve also researched how to use Rewardful, an affiliate management platform, to uncover affiliate programs by looking at the companies that use it.

One thing I really like is that these programs usually don’t ask for proof of traffic, which makes them very beginner-friendly. In most cases, you just submit your basic information and email address, and the application is approved automatically.

Most importantly, many of these programs offer recurring commissions.

Most major affiliate programs are trustworthy. The important question is which niche suits you best and which programs you are capable of succeeding with. If you are just starting out, you should choose lower-priced products that match your marketing skills and experience.

finding program is not a tough task but actually making revenue is tough task.
any way to find proper guidance or mentoring session to start with might be helpful for beginners.
