People love talking about hard work but when it comes down to it , most are still searching for something quicker .
A smarter method .
A hidden trick.
Something that gets results without the long grind.
And honestly , it is not always wrong - working smart matters too .
But where is the line between being efficient and just chasing shortcuts ?

Do you believe real success come from pure effort , or is there always some kind of shortcut behind it?

You're right, indeed. But for real success, there's no shortcut. The shortcuts you take work only for a short time, and then you have to start from scratch...again and again!
 
Success come from working hard and on top of that working smart. So you need both quality but usually the harder you work the smarter you get as each failure learn you new things from it
 
Hard work usually builds the base but "smart moves" decide how fast or how far you go with it . The problem is people confuse shortcuts with no effort at all . Real shortcuts , in my experience , are just patterns someone figured out after doing the hard work first . If you skip the effort completely , it usually does not stick or last.
 
Wanting the easy way isn't the problem, that's just rational. The issue is when people chase shortcuts for things they don't understand at all — it works until it doesn't and they have no idea why it stopped or how to fix it. Half the threads on this forum are that exact situation.

Yeah, shittons of lazy asses camouflaging behind supposed 12 hr workdays. I noticed that already, a lot of people basically bluffing.

Honestly, I have couple of friends who go to work most days of the week and actually do nothing but they still come back home tired

It's really just about keeping the act up to look busy for people watching : D
 
fast money is always good but never lasts, but those who are used to fast money never want to settle down and make consistent stable income, their perception of the amount of work they need to put in for the money is fundamentally warped, and i believe thats where that discrepancy lies.

Most people spend so much time looking for a 'shortcut' that they could have finished the 'long grind' twice over. Success comes from the grind, but staying successful comes from finding the shortcuts that others haven't discovered yet. Effort gets you into the game; the 'hidden trick' keeps you ahead of the pack.
 
There is no easy way, just have fun on the way up.
 
It's a mixed bag.

Hardwork or hustling 12 hour in an online work merly means you are ready in front of your PC researching, talking to a client, networking, or working.

Simple: You get up, dress up, show up on a daily basis. Then that's hard work.

Having worked, run businesses for 8 years in the offline world and 7 years in the online world. No one works their entire 8 or 12 hour shift. Most of it spent waiting on the line to fix an issue or do work as and when required.

Most of the jobs that require continuous work(mental and physical) are already automated starting from the industrial revolution.

Ofc anyone would be the richest man on earth or be happy or be content or be a monk. We wish for so many things to come easy but we get things based on being at the right time at the right place which is never in your control.
 
What people are describing here about looking busy is true even in non-white collar jobs. You'd expect a chef or farm worker to be engaged and have something to do at pretty much all times but when i worked both jobs I was surprised how much of it was just pretending to clean stuff that was already clean. I can't imagine many jobs legitimately have 8 - 12 hours worth of stuff to do. Working hard seems to have diminshing returns past a certain point IMO, but its still the base you need.

This is simply not true.

There are some people born with a first class ticket to success. Being born into wealth, good looking, genius, physically gifted or just downright likeable.

If you lack that ticket, you struggle in life and then yes you have to work and grind to receive any relevant success you may get in life if you're lucky.

Just the cruel reality to life.

Honestly, the whole 'pure effort vs. shortcut' debate is usually just people trying to justify burning out or being lazy. Real life isn't that black and white.

Yeah you don't want to be spending years looking for an easy way.

Speaking from experience, unfortunately.
 
Could not be further from the truth for me.

Quick wins & short cuts, whether they generate me income or not, don't light the fire inside me. I need the challenges, the pressure and the a workload heavy enough to keep me in the zone. Gives me such a buzz to enter a niche and outperform the (often) lazy guys at the top within 3 months.

As a result, some days I can work 18 hour days behind my screen and love pretty much every minute of it. I've worked online for just over 20 years now and I can count the days I haven't enjoyed on my fingers and toes.

I don't want easy; would bore me to death. And if I did, I'd get a shitty retail job.

If you DO want the short cut, then you don't want to work in IM. You just want money. And you'll never compete with those that take it seriously.
 
You should only look for shortcuts and easy ways INSIDE your processes, and they should be moving efficiencies. Your actual method should be as long and hard as you can manage.

3/4 of people can't even finish a book. You can't ask for something easier than a book to read. If you can't read a book from start to finish, you have no chance of putting together the documentation and admin required for a business, as that ish is much harder.

Work is like a book, you have to work from start to finish, learn and earn. Keep completing hard projects that make you reach for new heights beyond what most people will ever manage in their life. Making $1 legitimately through your own idea is no small goal to start of with! lol Even 1 buck is tough, if your doing things, all above board.
