Finding the right niche is the most tedious task. AI summaries killed informational niches. Dictionary, science, celebrity profiles, image galleries, etc. are all dead. You can only survive if you can bypass AI bottleneck.

Blogging is still worth it in 2026, but it’s definitely more competitive than before. It’s not as easy as just publishing content and expecting traffic.
What seems to work now is focusing on a specific niche and creating genuinely helpful, experience-based content. Sites that build trust and cover topics in depth still have good potential.
For beginners, starting with a smaller niche and staying consistent usually gives better results than trying to compete in broad, saturated topics.

Blogging is still worth. Blogs remain one of the strongest sources of organic search traffic. Blogs are long-term assets. It still makes money. People think blogging is dead because it’s way more competitive now.

Blogging is still worth it in 2026 but only if you treat it as a long term strategy not a quick win quality content and real value matter much more now than posting frequently
From what I have seen niche blogs still perform well especially in areas like finance health ai tech and online business
General blogs are mostly saturated but if you focus on solving specific problems you can still grow and monetize
Also blogging alone is not enough anymore combining it with social media email and other traffic sources works much better in 2026

Yes blogging is still worth it in 2026 but only if you focus on a clear niche and write useful content instead of generic posts beginners can still grow but it takes consistency patience and a long term approach and niches like finance AI tools health and product reviews are working well right now

Blogging works but you need to be ultra specific on the niche you're writing about because it enables you to become an authority and get more traffic faster than a generalized blog.

I’ve noticed the folks who are still growing in 2026 treat their blog like a tiny media brand instead of a post-and-pray diary. What helped me was mixing long guides with small, fast posts and then pushing them on social so Google isn’t my only oxygen tank. Even a tiny email list makes a big difference, especially in tougher niches.

I think blogging is still worth it in 2026, but the approach has changed a lot. Random content does not work like before, focused niches, useful content, and consistency seem to matter much more now.

There is still plenty of room in blogging during 2026 because most sites fail from inconsistency, not competition. Niches with real user intent like AI, affiliate reviews, crypto, finance, travel, and problem solving content are still bringing solid traffic and revenue for new bloggers.

Google now ranks AI results at the top, and as a user, I have to say that most of the time I don’t even feel the need to look further down the list; if you have sources that can drive traffic outside of Google, it could be profitable.

The niches working best right now are the ones with real problems that need real answers. Personal finance, home improvement, health for specific groups, and local service topics all have strong traffic potential. Pick something specific enough that big generic sites are not covering it properly and you have a real chance.
