I just checked my stats for last for the last 3 months bing ads is giving me 4x better roas than google search. goolge is just full of bot clicks and "close variants" that eat my budget. is google ads officially just for big brands with unlimited money now? i feel like smaller affiliates should just move to bing.
what' your opinion?

Many people still use google ads because it gives high intent traffic. people searching on google already want something, so even if clicks are expansive, chances of conversion are higher.

I think Google still works, but it’s more competitive and needs tighter optimization; Bing can feel better for smaller budgets, but it’s not that Google is only for big brands.

Google Ads remains one of the most effective advertising methods. It's not that it's ineffective, but the competition is fierce, and Google's default recommendations can easily consume a lot of ineffective budget.

True Google Ads performance requires very precise control over Google traffic sources and optimization of Google keywords to achieve good results.

Based on my experience with people around me using Google Ads, Google's quality remains the best media.

A lot of the wasted spend on Google comes from broad match and close variants if not managed properly.
Smaller advertisers feel it more because margins are tighter. Bing is easier to profit on, but scaling is limited compared to Google.

I think moving to or starting on Bing is a good move, if one's budget is small and if one is kind of struggling to break even. However, if landing pages are high-performing, Google is still profitable if you are strict with targeting and match types.

It's not everyone's case. Your business just works better on Bing and that's a fact that can be understood but perhaps your setup on Google isn't optimized

You can target a certain user base with more accuracy on Google Ads imo. And as someone has already said: it's not everyone's case.

I wouldn’t say Google Ads are “dead,” but they’ve definitely become harder to make profitable, but I’d still keep Google in the mix on a smaller scale

Not really wasting, search ads still work if done right. most people lose money because of bad targeting or no proper funnel, not the platform itself.

Yes google Ads has a lot more bots and wasteful clicks now which can be cost ineffective for smaller advertisers. Bing Ads is a much more focused and cost efficient option especially for affiliates.

Does Bing have anything similar to Google Keyword Planner?
Yeah, Bing has its own Keyword Planner. You can check volume, CPC, and competition. Not as fancy as Google but works for planning cheaper campaigns.

Google ads is for big brands

I noticed similar trends google clicks sometimes eat up budget without conversions. for small affiliates, diversifying to bing or other platforms can make your spend go further.

Google still has the volume but yeah it’s way more competitive and messy now.
Bing can look better because traffic is cheaper and more intent heavy in some niches.
Google is not dead for small guys but you need tight targeting and good tracking or it burns fast.

I wouldn't write off Google Search completely

For some niches it's definitely gotten worse, but if Bing is giving you 4x better ROAS I'd be looking at the keywords, match types and search terms report first

I've seen a lot of accounts leaking money through broad match without realizing it

Also remember Bing traffic is usually smaller. Great when it works, but scaling can become a problem much faster than on Google
