Why people still wasting money on google search ads in 2026?

I just checked my stats for last for the last 3 months bing ads is giving me 4x better roas than google search. goolge is just full of bot clicks and "close variants" that eat my budget. is google ads officially just for big brands with unlimited money now? i feel like smaller affiliates should just move to bing.

Many people still use google ads because it gives high intent traffic. people searching on google already want something, so even if clicks are expansive, chances of conversion are higher.

True Google Ads performance requires very precise control over Google traffic sources and optimization of Google keywords to achieve good results.

Yes google Ads has a lot more bots and wasteful clicks now which can be cost ineffective for smaller advertisers. Bing Ads is a much more focused and cost efficient option especially for affiliates.

Bing can look better because traffic is cheaper and more intent heavy in some niches.

I wouldn't write off Google Search completely

For some niches it's definitely gotten worse, but if Bing is giving you 4x better ROAS I'd be looking at the keywords, match types and search terms report first

I've seen a lot of accounts leaking money through broad match without realizing it

Also remember Bing traffic is usually smaller. Great when it works, but scaling can become a problem much faster than on Google
