Why is Facebook so profitable while other social networks aren't?

Facebook's real-name policy allowed them to build incredibly detailed user profiles for hyper-targeted advertising, which is far more profitable than the generalized ads on platforms with mostly anonymous users.

There ate actually other social networks which works good
Although FB does more with more niches
There are certain niche ads that are not good with FB in any way

I guess it's because Facebook just started giving its creators money. to encourage them to stay on Facebook and create more content on the platforms.
 
As others said, it's probably the real identity.

Twitter is probably 90% bots and fake replies

I think social networks all develop according to different goals. It's not just Facebook that operates with advertising currently.
Each platform has a different policy.
 
It’s honestly all about that high-quality data and their massive reach that makes targeting so easy for us marketers. Everyone else is still struggling to bridge the gap between user behavior and actual ad ROI

fb real name policy and deep integration into daily life gave them a data goldmine that anonymous platforms just can’t match
 
There is also some truth to that. But they are also good for me. Facebook's policy is becoming strict towards bots and identity faking. This helps Facebook will have a large amount of real users and be a useful ads platform.
 
I think because facebook requires real identities, facebook access extremely accurate behavioral data for optimizing advertising. It gives Facebook superior commercial value compared to anonymous social networks.
 
I think Facebook is not like other social media; Facebook is a part of life to communicate with friands and family and out of the world as well.

This will attract more users to the Facebook platform.
 
Massive user base led to strong network effects that attract both users and advertisers.
Highly targeted advertising using user data makes ads more effective and valuable.
Scalable, ad-driven model generates huge revenue with low marginal cost.
