Anyone else experiencing slow delivery of ads?

Is anyone else having problems with meta ads today?

I have some successful ads that I turn on and off every few months. Last night, I turned them back on. They're active, but almost nothing happens with most of them. It says they're active but they're not spending. It been almost 24 hours. The ads that do work have a CPM that is very high and don't really update much either.

I got very frustrated, so I duplicated one ad to see what happens, which then started running. It also had a high CPM, by the way.

Are other people experiencing issues with ads? If so, what are you experiencing? Any solutions to this?

Of course, FB support has been barely of any help per usual

Thanks, guess I have to be a bit more patient and see if they start running eventually. Duplicating the ads works, they start running instantly when I do that. But that's not really ideal.
 
This situation happens quite often. When a campaign or ad set is turned off and then turned back on, it may no longer perform as effectively as before, or it may start delivering very slowly.

Many people have reported slow spending and high CPM with Meta ads recently.

Try duplicating the ad, checking your budget and audience size, or waiting 24 to48 hours as the system may still be learning.

- If you still don't use them after 48 hours, turn off the old ads and run a completely new setup .
 
yeah seen this a lot when you turn stuff back on after a break, it says active but it’s basically “relearning” and can sit there doing nothing, high cpm is normal while it recalibrates. i usually either leave it alone 24–48h with zero edits or just duplicate into a fresh ad set and let the new one run, also double check account quality and payment just in case.
 
Please be patient and wait for another 48 hours. If nothing changes, delete the ad and create a new campaign.

I frequently encounter this situation; it's unavoidable because Facebook's ad distribution varies daily,
especially for those who don't regularly run ads, leading to a lack of timely information. It's possible that today your account is restricted from advertising by Facebook, causing it to be inactive, while other accounts are functioning normally.
Whenever this happens, I have to create many decoy campaigns and copy them to other accounts to keep them running while waiting for the main account to be fixed.
 
This is still happening due to Meta's current situation and doesn't affect your accounts; it just makes it harder for your ad campaigns to get approved. I think you can absolutely use low-cost campaigns to boost your account.
 
If your ad account is inactive for an extended period, it will result in no spending or very little spending, and you should set up a new campaign instead of using the old one, as maintaining the old campaign will always yield undesirable results.
 
Sudden ad interruptions disrupt the learning process, forcing ads to 're-learn' from scratch at a higher cost. Given Meta's volatile delivery system, using bait campaigns is a smart tactic. It helps maintain account trust and ensures new ad groups don't experience slow delivery.
 
I'm having the same problem. When an ad campaign or ad group is turned off and then turned back on, it takes a very long time for it to become active again.
