Solid Fundamentals right here. This sort of legwork is what many newcomers to this business are so clearly missing out on. If you don't do the legwork, you're not gonna get the results; it really is that simple both in SEO and in life. I'm going to add a little philosophical insight here if you don't mind @Topiano ; SEO is a grey science. There's all manner of theories and hacks out there about what works, what doesn't - what's whitehat/blackhat, blah, blah, blah. Also, all sorts of con-artists and charlatans, all too eager to take your money and when shit doesn't work, just blame it on the algo, or give it more time, or blame it on XYZ; and" it's actually your fault" B.S. That's the sad but true nature of SEO. But here's the important lesson: if you're trying to rank on google or whichever space you are in; let the data show you exactly what is working. Don't try to guess how it works based on shit you've read on the internet, or a sales page, or some guru told you in their "course". Look at the data, analyze it, understand it, and apply it. Cheers for putting together a step by step guide OP; I'm sure many will benefit!

- Data Cleanup.
The next phase next, we have to clean up our data for outreach. Next thing do is trimming the long URLs to root.
I use the online URL to Domain tool.
It's one of my favourite URL cleanup tools.
Use the configuration below;
PS: The tool could buggy sometimes, especially if you have loads on plugins on your browser.
You either work with incognito or use an alternative URL:
After having a cleanup data,
I'd SORT by geo.
Take for example, if building links to (.co.uk) I do want links from this GEO as fast as possible before moving to other TLDS (.com.net etc).
REMEMBER, this approach is solely dependent on available data.
- Finding Emails:
There are couple of guides on finding email on BHW, but my favourite tool is snov.io, accuracy on valid emails is 99% all time.
RESULT: Prospect Information (Name, company and email )
RESULT: Just Email
REMEMBER You don't want to lose good domains because the bulk domain tool can't find their email.
SOLUTION: I'd recommend exploring the websites manually with their chrome extension. MOREOVER, this helps gives holistic view on the website structure you're trying to get links.
Here is the final custom list of websites we would using:
In the next update: I'd focusing on:
- Email Warmups & Sending (We use instantly).
Why we use instantly scaling our outreach without getting shadow banned.
- Writing professional copies.
PS: I'm trying to get post updated in Real-time and KISS (keeping it super simple), so I'd wouldn't forget the data I wish to share, bear with me friends.

To really improve the data cleanup, Majestic is a great addon to Ahrefs. With it you can sort the domains by TTF, and prioritize the most relevant sites to you.
Then OBL is another thing I look at.
And when they're blogs, I check manually (takes seconds with a bit of experience) to see if they are just sellers or legit blogs. The Organic Keywords report is useful for this too and to verify relevance, and traffic growth is a key factor to check.
Another thing no o e ever talks about: take note of where your competitors links are placed. Many sites have most of their traffic on one or few subfolders/categories. The value of a link from these parts of the site will be more valuable.
And are they going to add internal links? Will they actually take some effort into boosting your article?
Prioritize, guys, forget scaling (for now).
