As with any community, there are some acronyms and lingo that get used a lot around here, and when you’re new, it might as well be a different language. So, here are the most common ones, explained. If you’ve used forums before, or are an old hand in the IM industry, some of these will be familiar. But for those who are entirely new, it’s handy to know what they all mean.
