I gave up on Yoast after the second time they screwed up a website of mine. Testing all in one SEO and it seems fine so far.

This is for sure why they slashed the rates but the real question is if they will bring them back to normal in the future? I say no, but I think like that.

When I say they link to everyone I'm talking about linking to every single website they can touch no matter the niche. They go after car niches all the way to really absurd niches like quilting and homework. There is no rhyme or reason for doing it especially to the number of niches they cover...

It doesn't hurt sites with enough backlinks to counter the effect. It seems to hurt smaller sites because they don't have many backlinks, if you go from having 50 backlinks to now having 600 with most of them being these spam sites it doesn't look good for you. Just as quickly as you disavow...

I guess its a good time to mention that you should also use a password manager. Stop using the same password for every account and use a password manager to help you create unique passwords for you and then store them.
