I second this. Getty have always been a-holes regarding 'rights' over their images. When I used to work for a media agency we stopped using their image 'services' because if you put one foot wrong you would end up in deep water.

Go to a design school because they don't just teach you how to use software, they teach you how to think creatively and develop your ability - plus you will have a good time!

Nice work. I would be tempted to add some subtle grads here and there and make a distinction where the yellow of the triangle meets the yellow of the arms. Love the sketchwork, wish I could draw characters as well as that, but I've never been too great with character generation.
