Well at the moment i am only starting up again, so would only do this part-time so i wouldn't be spending a fortune in here (never put all your eggs in one basket) Generally first orders are smaller to check quality, sell-ability, feedback from buyers, in other words hands on trial market...

Also it will depend on the state of your EBay account, and if you can just drop some of those HIGH RISK items on their without being flagged by EBay and/or PayPal. Key to all of this is to research ALOT and find out where others went wrong.
