I block majestic without any problem with "MJ12bot" tag and some php code but htaccess should work too. If you did not block them at the beginning, I think you can't do anything now because they already crawled you :-(

Thesam, you are completly wrong. If you block ahref and majestic, it doesn't have anything to do with your rankings. By the way, google "block majesticseo ahref htaccess" and you will find "easy" ways of doing this without any plugin for any website. If you prefer non-tech ways, go for the plugin.

PA / DA are made by a private company not linked with Google. There is no direct link between PA and ranking. But high PA has good links and good links make good ranking. About you question, yes you can go above images for sure. But you need more backlinks and maybe social signals, general...
