A lot of the porntube sites have affiliate programs that pay per view. You won't make any decent money unless your country breakdown is of good quality. You can expect to make $1-1.25 per 1000 unique hits.

Hard market to penetrate (no pun intended). You need something different and deep pockets for traffic. You need a specific niche and be the top cam site for that. Maybe JOI specific cam girls and then just buy all the JOI traffic you can get. Step one to success with this is to google what JOI...

Far from dead. It's true that you need a lot more traffic now than 10 years ago but it's much easier to get the views than ever before! You cannot do the same thing over and over and expect different results.
