You can type "Write for us 2020" and Google will provide results from more updated content (articles, listings, etc.)

Try Upwork, Fiverr, People Per Hour, Guru...Just, every marketplace has its own "ecosystem", its own set of rules, its own search engine mechanics - get used to one of them and then spread your eggs to another basket...

I am not from India, but your idea seems OK to me. $5 is not a big amount and two fivver jobs will basically return that money to them. From that point, you learned them the way to earn some money and improve their situation. Win-win.

Find the way (if possible) to state the final price with VAT included. If you add VAT as an extra fee, that is going to negatively affect your sales. It is just a purchase perception - it seems that you are paying something extra, while if it is just one price you simply do not think that way.

Nothing is easy. If you want freelancing, try Upwork, Fiverr, People per Hour, Guru (avoid Freelancer.com - my advice). Try to find your own clients - cold emailing/calling. Or to sell on online marketplaces - Envato, Creative Market, The Hungry JPEG, etc. But every approach has its own problems...

Do you have a basic, free Upwork account, or you have an account with more connects available but with monthly fee?

It is not sad, noone is going to give you something on a silver plate. It's just life. Research, learn, try, fail, adjust... then repeat: research, learn.... etc. Every time you repeat the process you are a step closer to success.

Sell all the junk from your house/apartment on eBay = you earned the money and you live in a tidy place.

If there is a low comptition niche it also might mean that it is a niche with low demand. Better focus on your skills.
